Here are a few important dates for our current competition;
- Entries are accepted from 11 PM June 19, 2023, through 11 PM July 5, 2023.
- Private judging will be recorded on or about July 10.
- The competition will be shown at the Zoom meeting on July 17.
- Awards will be presented at the August 7 in-person meeting.
- Category X is “Poster” – Members could compose a poster, full-page magazine ad, or a post card promoting a product or service. The product or service may be real or imagined. Of course, some kind of text would be required as part of the image. Composites are allowed and encouraged, but all components including skies must be taken by or created by the maker.
Image Specifications:
- Images may not identify the maker. (ie. no water marks)
- It’s much easier if you make a copy of the images you want to submit and place them in the same folder that is easy for you to access.
- Save the file as a .JPG (not .png, .tif, .psd or .raw)
- Shrink your photos so the longest dimension is between 2,000-4,000 pixels.
- The total file size must not exceed 3.5 MB or file will be rejected.

- The title of your image will be the file name.
- For example, if the title of your image is Stormy Weather, then your file name will be: stormyweather.jpg
- Don’t put any punctuation, capital letters or spaces in the file name.
