How to Enter

The Redlands Camera Club uses the website Print Competiton as our competition platform. (Even though the name says print competition, our competitions are all digital.)

1. Create an Account at printcompetition.com/request

Registration for a New Artist” (artist = photographer)

  1. Enter your email address and choose a password. Choose RCC (Redlands Camera Club) as the organization, and then click “Register” at the bottom.
  2. Choose your membership level (Basic is $15/year or Premium is $18/quarterly, $67/year) – The unpaid registered account can be used to watch the competition without entering images, and that is free.
Membership is for the current calendar year.

Image Prep

  • Images should be JPG (quality level 10), 4,000 pixels on the long side at 200 dpi, sRGB or Adobe RGB embedded color space, and show nothing identifying the maker (e.g., signature, watermark, etc) . There are no size limitations.
** We have discovered that the system may warn that images that are less than 4,000 pixels on the long side are too small. If it’s close, don’t worry about it. They will be accepted and should display fine.

Other Things to Know

Once you have entered your images and paid your fees, it’s possible to make changes to category, title, and even replace your uploaded images, so long as you do so before the submission deadline.

Images may take a minute or two to upload, depending on your internet speed. When the upload is successful, you will be transferred to the page where you can pay your $10.

Participation in RCC competitions is open to all paid members in good standing. Competition images should “be in good taste.” Any image the Competition Chair deems questionable will be presented to the board for final decision as to appropriateness. By submitting your pictures, you agree that the winning image(s) can be posted to the RCC website and other club social media.

You also affirm all photographic elements in the image(s) submitted are your original work. (Composites are OK. Stock images and AI-generated images are not allowed.)
