The Salton Sea Bird Festival is sponsored by Sea and Desert Interpretive Association, the Sonny Bono Salton Sea National Wildlife Refuge and the Salton Sea State Recreation Area. We will be attending the Burrowing Owl 101 class and field session featuring Paulette Donnellon at 9:00am.

Carpooling is encouraged. We will leave Coco’s Bakery Restaurant in Redlands at 6:15 am sharp to ensure we’re there in plenty of time. 1140 W Colton Ave, Redlands, CA 92374.
Expect to be back mid-afternoon, or feel free to continue to explore the area. Salvation Mountain, Bombay Beach, etc.
The event is free. However, a donation to support the work of the Wildlife Refuge would be appreciated.
