Friday, November 15 @ 8 AM
San Jacinto Wildlife Area in Southern California covers approximately 19,000 acres, including 900 acres of restored wetlands. Among the animal populations found here are numerous waterfowl, wading birds and jackrabbits. The area is popular for wildlife viewing and hunting.
The main purpose of this field trip will be to photograph birds. There will be several experienced birders available who will be willing to assit with basic camera settings and technique. Russ suggests we bring a wide angle lens 24-70mm and a long zoom lens between 200-600 mm. We will leave about 10 to 10:30 or as long as some would like to stay.
