Saturday, April 27 @ 9:45 am

Joshua Tree National Park is a vast protected area in southern California. It’s characterized by rugged rock formations and stark desert landscapes. Named for the region’s twisted, bristled Joshua trees, the park straddles the cactus-dotted Colorado Desert and the Mojave Desert, which is higher and cooler. It is a fascinating location to photograph and explore.

We will be photographing the Ocotillo Patch, the Cholla Cactus Garden, Arch Rock, and more! Our field trip ends at 3pm. After that, stay and explore the park or head home.

Every car will need someone with an Entrance Pass. Best if purchased ahead of time.

BYOL = Bring your own lunch. We will be having lunch at the Live Oak Picnic area. Make sure you bring plenty of water as well.
