Nothing says “Southern California” more than Downtown LA. Here is your chance to see the city up close and personal and capture some epic photos of iconic architecture, cityscapes, and people. 

We’ll meet at the Disney Concert Hall at 8:30 am. The best place to park is at the Music Center Garage218-246 N Grand Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90012 [Google Maps]

For those of you who want to carpool / caravan, we will meet at 6:45 am, at Coco’s: 1140 W Colton Ave, Redlands, CA 92374. We will leave for LA at 7:00 am sharp. 

There are several stops on the walking tour, including:

  • Disney Concert Hall
  • Bradbury Building
  • The Last Bookstore
  • L.A. Central Library
  • Ride a Funicular
  • and much more!
 

Heidi Wilson knows how to find many iconic and hidden treasures in LA. She is tag teaming this field trip with RCC President Bruce Herwig.

This is a walking tour covering several miles. Wear comfortable shoes, pack lite (I suggest just your camera with a lens), and bring money for snacks and lunch. We expect to be done some time between 1-2 pm.

*Because we will be walking up some hills and entering some historic buildings, this will be considered a “no tripod” trip.
