To leaders of California photography organizations, colleagues, and friends,
This week, we lost a valuable member of our photographic community. Frank Peele was a knowledgeable, dependable, yet humble mentor, instructor, colleague, peer, and friend to many of us. West Coast School (WCS) is a Professional Photographers of America (PPA) Community Network School founded in 1956 and is considered one of the top photographic institutions in the country! WCS is a non-profit organization operated by the Professional Photographers of California (PPC) and offers an amazing week of hands-on Professional Imaging Creativity, Photography Business Development, and Fun. Frank taught macro photography at WCS, and I was fortunate to have been one of his students, one of many who received the incredible gift of his knowledge and wisdom. Franks’ well-known “Drops, Splashes, and Crashes” setups were popular, fun, and educational. Please donate to the scholarship fund in memory of Frank to continue Frank’s work in the education and career development of photographers.
If you’d like to send cards, gifts, or flowers:
– For flowers, please send them to the Celebration of Life service on July 5th in El Cajon. (details above)
