2023 Winter Competition

  • Entries will be accepted starting on October 16, with awards distributed on December 4.

Image Specifications:

    1. It’s much easier if you make a copy of the images you want to submit and place them in the same folder that is easy for you to aceess. 
    2. Save the file as a .JPG (not .png, .tif, .psd or .raw)
    3. Shrink your photos so the longest dimension is between 2,000-4,000 pixels. 
    4. The total file size must not exceed 3.5 MB or file will be rejected by the upload system.
 
Name Your Files BEFORE uploading
All image files entered in our competitions MUST be named in the following manner: 
  • The title of your image will be the file name.
  • For example, if the title of your image is Stormy Weather, then your file name will be: stormyweather.jpg
  • Don’t put any punctuation, capital letters or spaces in the file name.

Files must be JPGS | Less than 3.5 MB | Less than 4,000 pixels on the long side.
JPGs MUST be in the SAME FOLDER before uploading. If you have more than one image, upload them both at the same time. Use the mouse to "click hold and lasso" or hold the "CTRL key and click" to select both files. Need Help? Click Here to watch.
Images may take a minute or two to upload, depending on your internet speed. You will see the "send" circle spinning. When the upload is successful, you will be transferred to the page where you can pay your $10.

Participation in RCC competitions is open to all paid members in good standing. Competition images should “be in good taste.” Any image the Competition Chair deems questionable will be presented to the board for final decision as to appropriateness.

By clicking "Send" you affirm all photographic elements in the image(s) submitted are your original work. (Composites are OK. Stock images and AI-generated images are not allowed.)
