Carlsbad Flower Fields
5704 Paseo Del Norte, Carlsbad, CA 92008
www.theflowerfields.com

Join us for a field trip to the beautiful Carlsbad Flower Fields, one of Southern California’s most colorful spring destinations. Set on the hills above the coast, the Flower Fields are known for their sweeping rows of ranunculus in vivid bands of red, orange, yellow, pink, and white. It is a wonderful place to enjoy the scenery, spend time with fellow photographers, and take in a landscape that feels almost made for the camera.

This outing offers great photo opportunities for every skill level. Members can capture wide scenic views, repeating patterns of color, close-up flower details, and candid images of visitors enjoying the grounds. It is also a great setting to practice composition, color, and perspective while enjoying a relaxed day outdoors.

What to Bring:

  • Camera (simple “walkable” setup like a 24-70mm lens).
  • Hat and sunscreen
  • $ for lunch & parking,
