In-Person and Zoom Meeting – Cheryl Diermyer
Take time this Labor Day holiday to learn more about your gear and the RCC community through creative engagement. Cheryl Diermyer will lead us in an active collaboration of events designed to keep you excited for months ahead. You will delve into your camera gear with RCC members to discuss your questions —don’t forget to bring your equipment! Plus, you will engage in a fun activity that will help shape future programs to your specific needs and interests. Together, we will continue building a RCC vibrant community that fosters learning and creativity.
Our in-person and Zoom meetings open at 6:30 pm for a social time before the presentation. Visitors are always welcome.
Presented by Cheryl Diermyer
Cheryl Diermyer, a former CBS News Video Journalist and Associate Director of Education Innovation, has been honored with awards including the Associated Press National Video Journalist Award, the New Media Consortium Exhibiting Artist Best of Show Award, and the Hirsh Family Engaged Learning Award. She stopped creating photographs when the 100-Year Red River Flood took her home, her photography gear, and her photo collection, including her treasured family photos documenting the life of her children. Photography communities like RCC have played a vital role in reconnecting Dr. Diermyer with her passion for sharing stories through photography.
