Monday, September 30 @ 7pm

Zoom Meeting

Submission dates will be Monday, 9/23 – Friday, 9/27.

We’ll send an email reminder when uploads are available.

One entry each. Fee will be ZERO. Judges will be from within our membership and will be allowed to judge their own works since there will be no awards given. This is for testing purposes only, with the goal to ensure everyone involved is comfortable uploading to the new system, work out any kinks and that we can pull off our November competition with this new platform without technical difficulty.

  1. Create an Account at

We will test our new competition system on Monday, September 30, 2024 at 7:00 PM, If you would like to help we need a few members to submit 1 image to the www.printcompetition.com website.

  1. To participate you will have to be a member of www.printcompetition.com and that membership will grant you access to our practice and official competitions as well. Some of our club members are already members,
  2. If you are not already a member of PrintCompetition, go to their website www.printcompetition.com and click on New Artist Registration. Choose your membership level (Basic is $14/year or Premium is $18/quarterly, $67/year) After you have established a profile and a password, click on RCC below to access the competition. This will only be available during the official submission days, September 23 to September 27 at 7PM.
  3. Enter any one of your own images you wish. Note that you can change your entry by going to your profile page any time up to the closing date.
  4. Note that the class and category have been combined, so you may enter at any skill level you want, differing by category if necessary.
  5. Judges will be selected from among the participating members. This is a test of the judging system, so judges may be required to judge their own images honestly.
  6. Regular rules will apply to submissions: JPG, 4,000 pixels on the long side, 200 dpi, sRGB or Adobe RGB embedded color space, nothing identifying the maker visible on the image. There are no size limitations, but PrintCompetition.com recommends JPG quality level of 10.
** We have discovered that the system may warn that images that are less than 4,000 pixels on the long side are too small. If it’s close, don’t worry about it. They will be accepted and should look fine on the new display system.
  7. The system will use the title you provide as filename. Please try to keep the title under 30 characters. There are no other restrictions on titles.
  8. During the upload process you will be directed to a place to pay. This is where you would normally pay your $10 through PayPal for our club’s fees for a regular competition. It has been set to $0.00 for this practice.
  9. There will be no awards for this practice competition.
