Get experience doing event photography while supporting a good cause in our own backyard.
From 1-4pm on Saturday, November 7, Two Canyons Conservancy will hold a celebration for the historic Frink Adobe in Loma Linda. The Frink Adobe is Loma Linda’s oldest home, established in 1866 by pioneer Horace Frink. The celebration, titled Citrus & Clay, will begin with a color guard and flag raising and host musical groups on a stage backed by the clapboard wall of the original Frink commercial repair shop. Kids will enjoy adobe brickmaking and pony rides. Adults will enjoy antique cars and motorcycles, and free tours of the house and gardens.
The Conservancy, which manages the property, is asking RCC members to capture the event in photos and to share those images with them to use for future promotions. Already, RCC past president Russ Trozera has generously donated his time to do free portrait sittings.
But there remains a need for others to capture the spirit of this event and contribute to the support of this historic site in our inland empire community. If you are interested in this activity, contact me (mliv1@verizon.net) and I can put you in touch with the organizer.
